Corporate Marketing Associate

Working out of USI's Corporate Headquarters, the Marketing Analyst is a critical part of our in-house Marketing team and will develop and execute internal and external marketing initiatives to support our offices across the country. The Corporate Marketing Analyst should thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment working with a wide range of corporate and field executives.


  • Work with National Director Branding & Marketing and Chief Sales Officer to initiate and provide ongoing support for USI's national marketing, branding and communications projects both internally and externally
  • Manage USI's Engagement Platform process, a suite of content marketing tools, including presentations, videos, brainsharks, sell sheets and articles
  • Maintain and update marketing library and working with CRM champions to drive usage with sales team
  • Responsible for the management of numerous creative and analytical projects across USI
  • Maintain and update USI marketing Intranet and USI website ( in conjunction with website developer. Review and report on website metrics (using google analytics)
  • Develop and record Brainshark training modules
  • Directly support sales specialist with national webinars to educate both our internal teams and our clients/prospects
  • Manage and create corporate communications and marketing tools (one-sheets, brochures, presentations, newsletters, email marketing tools) in conjunction with corporate brand guidelines
  • Create email templates for internal and external marketing
  • Assist in developing content for various training initiatives
  • Design, format and update PowerPoint presentations for internal and external meetings.
  • Board level presentations, business acquisition integration and internal collateral development in support of corporate initiatives
  • Work on advertising and branding projects across print, web and email
  • Work with internal stakeholders across the organization to develop creative solutions to their marketing and communication needs
  • Participate in the development and design of new templates, guidelines and guides for local offices to improve national processes
  • Partner with internal Communications Manager and other key stakeholders to drive marketing and brand positioning for USI on a national level
  • Conduct research for ideas on new marketing and prospecting initiatives
  • Responsible for daily project management ensuring team needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Other special marketing, branding and design projects as needed

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Advanced PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree  (Marketing or Communications preferred)
  • 1-2 years experience in a marketing or sales support role preferred
  • Experience working or interning for financial services or professional services firms preferred
  • Understanding of how marketing and branding supports key business initiatives
  • Demonstrated success supporting sales and/or branding and communications initiatives
  • Team oriented
  • Must be able to be effective in an intense, diverse, deadline oriented environment
  • Organized self-starter with a positive attitude that can juggle multiple priorities with firm deadlines
  • Excellent project-management skills with ability to analyze and deliver metrics on-time and error-free
  • Strong communication, writing and analytical skills
  • Comfort engaging all levels of firm management
